Tonight 28 Tevet is Gedalia Lagovier yartzheit. Gedalia was Omi’s younger brother. He was born in 1903 and died 1963.
He visited once in Hamburg then went to Bolivia and they didn’t hear from him for many years. They received a letter from him stating that he was teaching Hebrew in Bolivia.
He ended up in Chile where Omi once went to visit him.
He is buried in Santiago Chile in the
Cementerio Israelita de Conchalí
