Raizy, I was so shocked and sorry to hear about your father.  And then I felt so glad that you made the decision to devote yourself to caring for your parents this last while.  How wise you were to spend more time with them, such kavod on your part.
Of course, losing a person as exceptional as your father can bring up so many intense feelings, thoughts, memories that I imagine you must be having a hard time of it.  I can’t even begin to guess how your mother is doing, but thank G-d she has you and the rest of her family.
How can a person be there, and then not be there? I still don’t get it. Yet Hashem asks us to bear the loss.  May you, your mother, and your brothers and sisters find comfort and blessing in the memory of your father.
Love,
Sharon
